I come from a background of running a traditional Kent family fruit & arable farm, which has now evolved into a rural business utilising our land & buildings. As a Kent Wildlife Trust trustee, I will be looking at how the shortlisted farms are involving conservation into their farming business.
Farming is a dynamic industry delivering food, biodiversity, and the local benefits of diversified rural businesses. These awards are an opportunity for individual farms to demonstrate what they are doing to a wider audience.
