KENT YOUNG FOOD AND FARMING ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

YOU CAN ENTER UNTIL MIDDAY ON  THURSDAY 19th JANUARY 2017

Nominations can be made by individuals, or one or more individuals wishing to propose them.  It should focus on achievements over the past 3 years.

The nominations should explain how the individual has:

  • Made a significant contribution to an existing business, or built a new one, anywhere in the Kent farming and food sector and/or
  • Done something creative within their part of the food chain, whether in terms of production; developing and introducing a new product; serving shoppers/consumers etc.

This award is about recognising a young person who can also inspire others, so nominations should explain what the individual has accomplished and how.  Accordingly, it is not designed for those simply with a new idea, or just beginning to develop new technology.

Entries will be considered by the judges who will make a selection and arrange to meet the finalists in January 2017.

As creatives, at Impact we are passionate about change. Change is what shapes us, builds our future and moves us forward. It’s therefore only natural for us to want to recognise the younger members of the your industry who are brave, passionate, devoted or even fool hardy enough to think they can change things for the better. Entrepreneurship is something to be encouraged and nurtured in the UK post BREXIT and we’re extremely proud to support this essential category in our County.
